Good brief! I really get the sense of the direction you have decided to take with your title sequence. Choosing to use mementos similar to the ones Joel and Clem have in the movie is a great way to express the overall narrative tone. Having more handmade elements really enhances this.
I do think that you could delve a little bit deeper into the competitive landscape, and try to come up with things other than movies that have a similar tone to Eternal Sunshine. Things like music, poetry, or photography could greatly help the process of creating this sequence.
